Beloved and Snap are now in the app!

We are just thrilled that SO MANY knitters have been using the app since we launched it a few months ago. It’s been such a hit, and the biggest question is: How can I use the app for ALL my knitting patterns?

We’ve been hustling, and this fall we’ll be adding new features, as well as your favourite patterns – and new patterns, too! 

The first two patterns we’ve added to the app are a couple of major knitter faves: Beloved and Snap! 

Knitters LOVE making these adorable, quick-knitting hats. Many of you have already purchased these patterns, which means you’ll get them for free in the app. No need to pay twice!

I already have these great patterns…how do I get them in the app?

Once you’ve downloaded the app and signed in, tap the patterns button, and we’ll check for your purchases. If you’ve bought either Beloved or Snap, we’ll pop them into your app pattern library – and then you can cast on!

If you purchased the patterns on ravelry.com, you can link up your Ravelry account within the app, either on the patterns tab, or from the app menu.

I can’t wait to cast on! How can I buy these patterns?

The best way (for now) is to buy Beloved and Snap on tincanknits.com, and then sync your purchases in the app. Soon you’ll be able to buy patterns in the app, but as with all projects, we must proceed one stitch at a time!

What about PDFs?

PDFs are not going away! 

When you buy a pattern, you’ll always get the PDF. We’re simply adding value by developing this helpful app format, so you can see ONLY what you need (your size, your yarn weight, units that you understand, text size you can read, the options you’ve chosen, etc.). But if PDFs are your preference, they’re always available.
