When you buy patterns or ebook collections at Tin Can Knits (tincanknits.com) you can add them to your Ravelry library for safe keeping. FYI for customers who don’t use Ravelry – we’re working on a PDF library for you, and we plan to make that available via the new Tin Can Knits App in a couple of months.
3 steps to add purchases on tincanknits.com to your Ravelry library
Open your Order Confirmation email
When you buy on Tin Can Knits you’ll receive 2 emails – the one you’re looking for has the text Order Confirmed in the subject. You can search your email program for this, or for Tin Can Knits. Remember to check your promotions or spam folders (or a different email account you may have purchased under) if you don’t see the email in your inbox.
Tap the ‘Add To Ravelry’ button
If you are not logged into Ravelry, you can tap ‘sign in’ at the top of the page.
If you are already logged into Ravelry you are good to go.
You’ll be taken to a page on Ravelry, and you can store your Tin Can Knits PDF(s) in your Ravelry library by ticking the tick box next to store in my library.

Add the PDFs from each order you make
There’s no link stored between the email you use to purchase, and your Ravelry user. So each time you buy a new pattern on Tin Can Knits, you need to add it into your Ravelry library, to store the PDF.
However, the links in your Order Confirmed email won’t go bad! You can save that email, and download your PDF from there in the future.
If these steps don’t work
If the above steps don’t work, pop us an email at orders@tincanknits.com and we’ll get back to you in a few days – we really appreciate your support, and we’re here to help.
