The Decades sweater is inspired by a sweater I loved to absolute bits when I was a kid (way back in the 1980’s). That sweater was the coolest – and when I wore it, I was the coolest too.
The Decades sweater captures that magic feeling. Little geometric motifs make it a delight to knit, and the garter bands in between add some satisfying texture too. Cast on for your new favourite sweater!

I knit up this Decades sweater for Bodhi in the soft and lovely Farmer’s Daughter Fibers Recollect (York colourway) with Spincycle Dyed in the Wool (Lightyears colourway). The self striping yarn added a little extra joy to my knit!
