When knitting for kids it is always advisable to knit a little bigger rather than a little small (more wear for your hard work right?!). However, for newborns, it seems you can’t knit small enough, and they fit for about 5 whole minutes.
This is definitely my most epic of knitting traditions: a whole family of sweaters, ready for September!
Most projects aren’t a straight line. They meander a bit, often sidelined for a while. But, with a little grit and perseverance we can get through.
For this Strange Brew KAL I’m going to be working a rainbow of fair isle ALL over. Too much? We shall see…
Hurrah for knitters! Since the Heart On My Sleeve ebook launch in February, we’ve sold over 3200 ebooks and donated all of the income (a whopping total of $53,745 USD) to the Against Malaria Foundation. The funds raised so far will buy over 22,000 long-lasting insecticidal bed nets which are set to be distributed in Malawi, Papua New Guinea, and Uganda (it’s easy to track the distribution of the funds we’ve raised on the Against Malaria website).
Originally I thought this cowl would be a baby sweater…but sometimes a project will decide when it’s done. I added some ribbing and called it a cowl!
