It was a big day in our house this past weekend, our little Bodhi turned 3! I know, I hear we millennials like to over-celebrate the little things, but folks, the littlest turning 3 is big around here.

Laura is an amazing knitter, and has done some beautiful TCK knits over the years!
Due to it’s ultimate simplicity, Playdate has been very popular, and many knitters have taken this simplicity as an invitation to play! I love the way folk have striped it up, and I decided to join them.
Often, as soon as we complete a pattern, my very first thought is: I wanna make another version of this; one that’s marled, or at a different gauge, or with a different colour palette… The design process is a like a never-ending journey!
Lately I’ve been whipping up Bumble Beanies non stop. The original design is a simple one, the perfect palette to experiment with yarns and colours!
Sometimes, you may have the perfect yarn for a sweater, and the perfect sweater pattern in mind, but the two don’t quite match up in terms of gauge.
