Due to it’s ultimate simplicity, Playdate has been very popular, and many knitters have taken this simplicity as an invitation to play! I love the way folk have striped it up, and I decided to join them.
Often, as soon as we complete a pattern, my very first thought is: I wanna make another version of this; one that’s marled, or at a different gauge, or with a different colour palette… The design process is a like a never-ending journey!
Lately I’ve been whipping up Bumble Beanies non stop. The original design is a simple one, the perfect palette to experiment with yarns and colours!
