An epic Christmas sweater project!
Sometimes I am too much. I am a person filled with big ideas, and rarely the sense to assess the time reality of them. This year my plan to *not* to knit sweaters for a Christmas photo kinda failed.
When knitting for kids it is always advisable to knit a little bigger rather than a little small (more wear for your hard work right?!). However, for newborns, it seems you can’t knit small enough, and they fit for about 5 whole minutes.
This is definitely my most epic of knitting traditions: a whole family of sweaters, ready for September!
This will come as no surprise to those who have been following Tin Can Knits for a while, but Emily and I love geometric fair isle. The tiny repeats in the Tenderheart pattern were really fun to swatch and choose and I doubt we are done with the idea yet!
