The previously undiscovered secret to the perfect baby bootie now revealed!
Alexa’s daughter Hunter has been rambling around, getting into all manner of trouble, and has NEVER LOST A BOOTIE. She’s no Cinderella! (I’m going to assume she has an earlier bedtime, but that she too will one day rule the ball).
These booties are adorable, quick, and immanently practical if you are expecting or have friends with wee ones. They’re not complicated, but the cabled cuff adds that rustic west coast style that every baby requires!
Intimidated by cables? See our great tutorial – they’re so easy!
It only takes a little time and yarn to show your love for the new parents and their strangely alien-looking ‘bundle of joy’. Or if you’re getting broody (I personally turn 30 this year, and tend to drool over Alexa’s baby girl), you can knit up a pair for your own future bairns, and hide them at the bottom of the sock drawer where your boyfriend won’t find them! Have I done this…? I’ll never tell!
