I’m reading through the pattern and I’m a bit confused with PM and BOR. For my size (s) I cast on 92sts. and place marker which indicates beg. of row. I then increase to 204sts before commencing the lace pattern. On the lace instructions it says BOR is centre back but my PM is at 92sts. I would appreciate help with this as I’m looking forward to knitting this beautiful sweater.

Hello – for the beginning of this pattern, you only have a single marker, it’s the BOR (beginning of round) marker, and it’s placed at the start/end of the round. Just place that one marker, work the increases, the lace, and then when you arrive at the point in the pattern where it says ‘BOR is located at centre back’ you’ll see that this is mentioned because the following instruction sets up raglan shaping. ~ Em

When you remove the market, do you move it back when you do the pattern again?
February 7, 2022 @ 9:47 am
Hi Cindy – Nope, you can leave it where it is.

Hello, I bought this pattern on Ravelry and am almost about to Bind Off my project, LOVING IT!
I was wondering if it would be possible for me to work on a split hem, but also include one repeat of the lace pattern? If so, would the lace pattern work just the same on the back row?
Thanks!!
Luzia

Hi Luzia – You would need to reverse the instructions on the WS rows. So knits would become purls and the slant of the decreases would be reversed.

Just a quick question. I have got circular needles and various cable lengths but I think the pattern is saying I need DPNs as well? It’s my first top down sweater and would be grateful for any guidance! Thank you. X
July 20, 2021 @ 11:16 am
Hi Sue – You will need DPNs for the sleeves, BUT you could also use a long circular for the magic loop method.

Hi Alexa. Thank you that’s great! X

hola, compré el patrón hace días, pero aún no he empezado, porque no me aclaro con las tallas y por si no fuera poco, no domino mucho el inglés. Mi contorno de busto es 94cm que talla escogería. gracias por tu atención.

I would knit the size S, that gives you some positive ease.

I bought the pattern and was so excited to begin I completely missed that the cast on was a provisional cast on! I am already starting the chart lace pattern, do I need to start over? Or can I just pick up neckline stitches at the end?
April 23, 2021 @ 10:22 am
I would just pick up one stitch in each stitch cast on and then work the collar.
February 15, 2021 @ 1:56 am
when i have to use the 4.5 mm needles?
February 18, 2021 @ 11:12 am
Hi Lara – the smaller needles are used at the neckline and cuffs

Just finished Love Notes! It was such a FUN pattern to knit. Wow! I had some trouble with the w & t ( actually with knitting/purls the loops to finish) but it came out ok. I might try to knit this again with German short rows.
Thank you for such a great pattern!

Thank you for the tutorial. I got stuck at the yoke — moving the marker threw me off! I’m ready to give it another try.
