Yeah… This is my ideal Christmas party sweater this year. I’m gonna wear mine with some over-the-top, high-waisted, wide leg pants… maybe in a Christmas print?! We’ll see where I get on the sewing front.

Lolabean and Walk Collection: Subtle Speckles + A Bright Solid

We LOVE the subtle speckles that Adella of Lolabean Yarns creates! I combined her sock weight Navy Bean yarn in the colourway A Mothers Love with a bright purple (more solid) lace weight mohair by Catharin of Walk Collection.

It GLOWS

Alexa used a similar strategy with the version she put together Ritual Dyes yarns! The base colourway she picked was Maiden in Gemini, and then she used a more solid yellow mohair, Fae in Forsythia, layered overtop for that great halo and a subtly different overall colour.
