Here at Tin Can Knits, we love the changing of the seasons! Spring and Summer mean the return of the sun and days of playing outdoors, and Fall and Winter bring cooler days, including those delightfully dreary rainy days when all you want to do is put on a pot of stew, curl up with your kitten and knit all day long (today in Edinburgh is one of those days).
Although my last University days ended years ago, the autumn still brings me that sense of excitement, of turning away from the party days of summer to begin a more studious and hard-working part of the year. For me, the autumn it is a time for starting new and exciting projects. Alexa and I have celebrated and said goodbye to summer in our summer essays (read Alexa’s and Emily’s), and now it is time to say hello to new projects, new classes, and meeting new people!
