Pacific Knits will be launched with excessive pomp and ceremony Friday, September 21st, at 7pm at Urban Yarns in Point Grey. Urban Yarns is the auspicious place where Alexa and I met and began to talk design! Join us to celebrate, get a signed copy of the book, and shop for the perfect yarn to make your very own antler cardigan, rosebud shawl, or hipster hat!
For our less-than-local fans: the full online collection will be launched at the same time, so you will be able to download the ebook and individual patterns at that time!
We are bringing the entire trunk show for Pacific Knits, so you can try things on, fondle them, and ask us questions! As I wasn’t able to attend last year’s launch of 9 Months of Knitting, I am twice as excited for this one!
We love to meet fellow knit addicts, share the fibre love, and obsess over the great yarn selection in the beautiful LYS’s that support us! Wear your handknit best (I have a new hot va-va-va-voom red sweater to debut!) and join us in our celebration.
If Urban Yarns on a Friday evening is inconvenient for you, we are available for congratulations and questions on Saturday September 22nd at the following events:
BOOK SIGNING at Black Sheep Yarns in PORT MOODY
Saturday September 22nd at 10am – noon at Black Sheep Yarns in Port Moody
BOOK SIGNING at 88 STITCHES in LANGLEY
Saturday September 22nd at 1pm at 88 Stitches in Langley
Yarn Harvest YARN CRAWL – Saturday September 22nd
If you didn’t already know, there’s an exciting event called the Yarn Crawl on Saturday September 22, at yarn shops across the Lower Mainland. More details here.
WIN SWAG
Alexa is bringing some gourmet yarn prizes to Urban Yarns, Black Sheep Yarns and 88 Stitches, and we also have some Tin Can Knits giveaways, so join us for a great party!

I just received your new book. Love it!! There are so many patterns that I want to knit right away. Thank you for you quick delivery and awesome patterns. Maybe you should jump across the border to visit some of the Northern Washington yarn shops. I would love that too!
