What’s your favorite Tin Can Knits pattern: Absolutely I adore every one of them, if I must pick a favorite it would be “The Low Tide Cardigan” and second would be the “Pop Blanket” and the “Simple Collection” next! Choose a favorite TCK pattern??? Truly impossible! I have knit the Barley hat, Low Tide, Lush and am oohing about the new lace pattern which will become available soon! I love all your patterns & have knit all of the simple collection. However one that has stuck in my mind is the the crossed cardigan. Estuary – I am waiting for the perfect blue green, maybe in seasilk, and to knit it when I next holiday in Alnmouth in Northumberland. Patterns where the name can invoke a place, or where it suggests a colourway or yarn are perfect for knitters who like this extra dimension to their knitting (cms1000 on Ravelry).

I just finished the fourth block for Dogwood. Great pattern. It has interesting elements but the repeating nature makes it go quickly. Especially by the 4th block. I will make 9 total for a 3 x 3 lap blanket.

I love Dogwood because it taught me so much; that I could knit lace, that lace needn’t be on skinny yarn, that patterns really do get easier with repetition. However my yearning at the moment is for Lush…I’ve never knitted an adult garment before- never really knitted much beyond a moss stitch scarf for myself….so it is my big challenge, at some point.

I would have to say “Sitka Spruce” is my favorite pattern. I am from Sitka, Alaska, and moved away back in ’95 for the military. We have been unable to get back to our “homeland” in our 22+ years in the service and this pattern is the perfect complement until we do!

I love all of your patterns and the colors you use for them. If I had to choose one pattern, I would have to say “Antler”. It was the first cardigan I made and having a tutorial helped me even more. Rosebud is my all-time favourite pattern. It was my first “big” lace project and my first attempt at reading charts, and I had an absolute blast knitting it, doing a few rows every night after moving in with my best friend, beginning my postgraduate degree and applying for a PhD. It kept me calm as I waited for emails from uni and letting agents!

I don’t think there is a tincanknits pattern that I don’t like! I have knit quiet a few and have loved everyone of them. A couple of favorites (most recently knit) are “snowflake” and “raindrops”. I look forward to knitting many more tincanknit patterns!
